About MITstory
MITstory was created to continue the celebration of the Institute’s history that began with MIT's 150th anniversary in 2011. Tied closely to our mission, this site highlights key milestones from our history and provides quick access to other relevant MIT history resources. While the timeline is not comprehensive, it does represent some of the key moments, ideas and people that created the culture of excellence that is MIT. We will continue to add new achievements and events as they occur.
